ASCI Participation Structure

The underlying logic of the ASCI participation model is a strategic line-up of industry, academia and government agencies in a collegial environment to best address critical emerging issues in this dynamic sector landscape. In this regard, the primarily intention of ASCI is to provide participating institutions interested in a common area of research, the opportunity to engage with economies of scale through dedicated multi/cross-disciplinary research teams.

Overall, the eligibility for participation depends on what organisations and institutions might also contribute to ASCI’s ability to meet its objectives and to better deliver value to the logistics and supply chain sector. Therefore, ASCI invites participation from organisations and institutions using the following guidelines:

  1. Organisations with extensive practical experience with the supply chain sector as an industry participant with current networks and relationships within the industry and complementary expertise relevant to the supply chain sector
  2. Research institutions with a proven track record of research involvement in industry via research engagements, service delivery or product development and a solid research focus on different aspects of the industry
